Glider

A standalone elytra-style glider with a velocity/physics-based energy cycles

Usage​

Equip the glider in either hand and press Secondary while airborne to start gliding. Press Secondary again to stop.

Details​

  • Dive (look down): builds horizontal speed per tick
  • Climb (look up): converts horizontal speed into vertical lift
  • Turn penalty: sharp turns kill speed, and gentle turns barely affect speed
tip

How steep your dive or climb is depends on how far down or up you are looking

Boosts​

The glider can be combined with other Zephyr items for extra mobility:

  • Knockback Bomb boost: while gliding, hold knockback bomb on the main hand and hit Ability 2 to consume one bomb from your inventory and apply an instant speed boost.
  • Zephyr Stone updraft: gliding through an updraft column adds extra lift (gliderLiftStrength) and gradually ramps your forward speed (gliderSpeedBoost per tick, up to the glider's max speed).
