Quick Start

Get Perfect Parries installed and working on your server in just a few steps.

Installation​

  1. Download the latest version of Perfect Parries
  2. Place the JAR into your server's mods/ folder
  3. Start (or restart) the server
info

On first run, the mod automatically generates its config files. Use /parrymodsettings to adjust these settings.

How to Parry​

Block right before an attack lands. That's it.

You have a 200ms window (indicated by parry reticle) from the moment you start blocking to land a perfect parry. If an attack connects during that window, the parry triggers.

What Happens on a Successful Parry​

When you nail the timing:

  • Damage is reflected back to the attacker
  • The attacker is knocked back
  • A parry particle effect spawns at the hit location
  • A material-appropriate sound effect plays (metallic/non-metallic)
  • A weapon-specific parry animation plays on your character
  • Signature energy is granted toward your weapon's signature attack
  • No stamina gets drained
