Parry Effects

Land enough consecutive parries to trigger a bonus effect.

info

All values mentioned on this page can be adjusted in-game. Use /parrymodsettings to configure them.

How It Works

  1. Each successful parry increments a parry counter
  2. If the counter reaches the threshold, a bonus effect triggers
  3. The counter resets after the effect fires
  4. If you go too long without parrying (the reset window), the counter resets to zero

Thresholds

ModeThresholdReset Window
PvE3 parries5000ms
PvP2 parries5000ms

PvP has a lower threshold since opportunities to parry players are less frequent.

Both thresholds and reset windows can be set independently for PvE and PvP via /parrymodsettings.

Available Effects

Players choose their preferred parry effect using the /parryeffect command.

info

PvP and PvE parry effects are separate to allow for different preferences between gamemodes.

info

Currently, the individual effects aren't configurable due to technical limitations.

Choosing Your Effect

Use the /parryeffect command to open the parry effect selection UI. From this menu you can:

  • Pick your PvE parry effect
  • Pick your PvP parry effect

Selections are saved per player and persist across sessions.
